Laser Line Plate Beam splitter : Our laser line plate Beam Splitters feature a 50R/50T ratio and are insensitive to input beam polarization. Available in 12.5mm and 25mm diameters as well as 50mm square, the Beam Splitters feature high damage thresholds and can be easily integrated into a variety of laser applications. The Beam Splitter coating is complemented by a high efficiency AR V-coating for enhanced performance.

Broadband Plate Beam splitterA mirror-type (plate) Beam Splitter is an optical window with a semi-transparent mirrored coating to break a beam into two or more separate beams. A Beam Splitter will reflect a portion of the incident energy (see reflection %), absorb a relatively small portion, and transmit the remaining energy (see transmission %). Mirror-type Beam Splitters have very neutral color characteristics and are often referred to as plate Beam Splitters.

Cube Beam Splitter Cube Beam Splitters are constructed by cementing two precision right angle prisms together with the appropriate interference coating on the hypotenuse surface. The absorption loss to the coating is minimal. Transmission and reflection approach 50% (average), though the output is partially polarized.
