Aspheric Lenses Our Plastic Aspheric Lenses offer a lightweight alternative to glass spherical or aspherical lenses. It is low weight and made of Optical Grade PMMA material makes these lenses ideal for OEM and research applications.
Zinc Selenide Infrared (IR) Aspheric Lenses: Zinc Selenide aspheric lenses provide diffraction limited focusing performance. Ideal for focusing the output of a CO2 laser, the lenses are offered uncoated, providing excellent performance over a broad spectral range of 0.6õm to 18.0õm.
Cylindrical Lenses: Focuses light in only one dimension. Similar to a PCX lens in profile, but is a portion of a cylinder instead of a sphere. Cylinder lenses can transform a point of light into a line image. Note: For rectangular lenses, radius of curvature is parallel to first dimension. Rod Lenses :Rod Lenses are polished on the circumference and ground on both ends. Optical performance is similar to a cylinder lens. Collimated light passing through the diameter of the rod will be focused into a line. Material: UV Fused Silica or BK-7 Ball Lens: Ball lenses are glass spheres commonly used in fiber optic applications. They are ideal for focusing light into fibers as well as fiber coupling. Ball Lenses are available in N-BK7 and N-SF8 substrates.
